MONTHLY CRAFT CLUB (EVENINGS)
THE FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH or THE THIRD SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
There is no formal tuition for the social events. There will be (up to) eight of you, all working on your own thing. You are welcome to bring something you are stuck on, or ask for help, or just sew as you please in exceptional crafty company. For example, you could bring a zippy bag pattern, and I can help you sew in your zip; you might like to make use of one of my workshop patterns; or have a go with a machine you don’t own (overlocker, coverstitch etc) to ‘try before you buy’; or you might just want to save up and do all of your cutting out at my excellent cutting space.

This course runs January, Feb, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November , December 2025 (10 sessions)
There will be two breaks throughout the year.
MONTHLY BAG MAKERS CLUB (EVENINGS)
THE THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
Following the concept of a book club, the members of the pattern club will all sew the same pattern within the allotted time frame (two months); a session will be held to discuss the makes, the pattern and instructions, fabric choices, and options. Sessions will alternate between 'pattern club' chats, and social sewing with peer and professional support. A new pattern will then be chosen to work on for the next two months. The session in between these two will be a crafty class, bring the bit you're stuck on, or what help with, and spend a luxurious two hours sewing with friends. Classes run for 10 months of the year, on the first Friday of the month, and the cost for the year includes printed (A0) copies of all patterns and instructions. Alternatively, you can source your own copies of the patterns, in which case, the course will be reduced. Patterns will include: a crossbody bag, a tote bag, and a rucksack. The other patterns will be voted by the team; please let me know on booking, a pattern which you would love to be included.
